Mountain bikers seem to get a lot of punctures, and go through a lot of tubes so why not stock up with this 10 pack of top quality Maxxis inner tubes so you are always one step ahead.
Tubes will suit tyres from size 26x1.90 up to size 26x2.125.
Maxxis Ultralight tubes are the standard in performance inner tubes for racing and training. Ultralight tubes are 0.60mm thin for weight consideration without loss of performance.
Ultralight tubes have been cold extracted enabling uniform wall thickness, resulting in a higher quality and lighter tube. Contrary to popular conception ultralight tubes have superior puncture protection than standard tubes, as they roll better with the tyre under cornering and are more pliable when sharp objects intrude.
Specifications: - Size: 26 x 1.90/2.125 - Weight: 125 grams per tube - Valve: FV
French valve (FV) is also known as "Presta valve" or "Pointy valve". Avoiding Pinch Flats Putting too much air into a tube without making sure it's seated properly in the tyre can cause a part of the tube to get pressed against the edge of the tyre. When the air pressure reaches near maximum, that pressure on the tube can actually cause the tyre to cut the tube's rubber, resulting in a "pinch flat." That's why you should put in about 20 pounds of air and then "massage" the tyre (to help seat the tube in the tyre and the tyre on the rim) before you fill it to the brim.
