Keep these in stock Review by Wal
Bought both the 25c and 28c, 25 for front wheel and 28c for back wheel. Put them in the sun to warm them up before putting on. Able to put the 28c on without levers, but 25c bit tighter. Two rides to date (80+ kms) and like the feel of them.

Based on other reviews, and my limited experience, these will be my go to for tyre replacement. Pricing is very competitive with the 17.5% discount and free shipping.

Delivery from Velogear prompt as usual.
Great Tyre that is extremely puncture resistant Review by PatrickD
Before, I had on my bike any type of tyres until I used the 700 x 23 Maxxis Refuse. I ride on pretty rough country roads where anything is trying to pierce my tyres, broken glass, nails, sharp gravel etc.... Before using Maxxis Refuse I would not go 2 weeks without a puncture. After 7000 kms with this brand I haven't had one. A few weeks ago, I had a piece of sharp gravel embedded into the front tyre, I struggled to pull it out and despite the depth of the intrusion , no flat tyre! Lately I swap the 700 x 23 for 700 x 25 of the same brand and they are great. I get a bit more comfort on the rough roads due, I believe, to the extra width. I would not have anything else on my bike now!
great tyres Review by mike
long lasting fairly puncture proof and cost efficient. 25c is great for a bit more grip and added comfort but careful on narrow rims as the lightbulb effect is often noticeable. these tyres also aren't the grippiest but as long as you're not cornering hard and fast you'll be ok. take it easy in the wet, but any tyre can slip in the wrong conditions!
Great allrounder Review by Wayne
Moved to these after many years of riding 23c tyres and would not go back. On Sydney's pot holed roads the 25c feels a lot more robust and makes a noticeable difference to comfort with no loss of speed. I also have had no punctures on these tires. As a all round training tire I can see no need to spend more than this. The guys I ride with buy much more expensive tires but still won't catch me on the descents.
Puncture resistance Review by Instroe
I have fitted a new pair of 700C x 25 tyres to my bike every year and do around 7000 kms per year. In the last 4 years of riding with Maxxis Refuse tyres I have NEVER had a puncture.
The bike was supplied with Continental tyres and I was getting a puncture every couple of weeks which is just a pain - I want to ride not fix punctures.
Very happy with Maxxis Refuse and I won't buy any other tyre but them in the future.
Just to recap, close to 30,000 kms on 4 sets of Maxis Refuse tyres and never ever one puncture.
