- Gnarly tyres Review by Trailbyfire
The rear tyre has no trouble propelling me up the climbs, even on steep rock faces (as long as pressures are good).
The front isn't as well protected and is a bit sluggish uphill, but that's the price you pay for the extra width, grip and confidence. Running 20psi, this sucker holds on to loose over hard surfaces all the way to the bottom. Living in the desert I couldn't tell you how it goes in saturated conditions though. Treat yourself, get a set!

- Small items up to 500g cost around $7 postage. Depending on the weight and size you will get 2 sometimes 3 small items posted for this amount.
- Most larger items post for about $12 and you will generally be able to add 1-3 small items at no extra charge

COMBINED SHIPPING CHARGES FOR BULKY ITEMS
You can add smaller items together with bulky items and there will generally be no or a small added postage cost. Ordering items such as 2 bike cases may not result in any savings due to their volume. Ordering mid-size items like two fluid trainers together will result in very good savings though. You will get your quote for shipping costs before you checkout.

Despite not measuring in the 2.8in range, the Minion WT still accommodates the current trend of wider rims with an equally expanded tread pattern. The tweaked design lets the tire sit fat without the risk of the shoulder knobs migrating to areas of trail contact that they're not meant for — a distinct possibility with narrow tires on wide rims. This preserves the rolling speed and cornering confidence that keep us coming back to the dual-compound Minion party, and it also makes the DHF model's reliability on soggy trails that much more appealing.
Sitting fat also equates to more air volume, which in turn makes for a plusher, less flat-prone, and higher traction ride — all of which properties are further boosted by running the Minion tubeless. This particular Minion also features Maxxis' 3C Maxx Grip compound blend, which involves a harder base layer and progressively softer outer layers to maintain durability and preserve grip and trail feel. Like the Double Down puncture-resistance, 3C Maxx Grip is typically seen on Maxxis' DH line, so it's welcome medicine for any all-mountain nutter who regularly ends up on the far side of the ragged edge.
