Duro Sierra Armourguard mountain bike slick - 26 x 1.75.
These bike tyres are perfect for commuting as the slick design allows for low rolling resistance whilst the subtle piping makes for good grip in all conditions.
The Sierra Armourguards are HIGHLY PUNCTURE PROOF, as the tyre has a kevlar belt under the tread. The reflective side belt is also made from kevlar, not only adding to higher night time visibility but reducing the risk of sidewall damage.
These are functional and durable tyres.

- Excellent tyres Review by tim
- I purchased these tyres for a motorised converted 26 and they have been excellent. We live in the hills with wet roads and they have done there job well. Also the reflective walls are great for that extra" Being Seen" by cars.
- Excellent slick tyre Review by Dave
This is a great MTB slick tyre if you ride your MTB mostly on roads and shared paths. You get excellent low rolling resistance on the road to make it easily the fastest slick tyre I've ever used, it is so good in this department that I was coasting on the Southern Expressway doing Amy's Ride late last year and overtaking guys on road bikes who were pedalling.
I've done about 3600 km on my current pair of these tyres, and the wear is so low that they should be good for at least another 1000-2000 before I think about the next set. In contrast, I used to use Maxxis Overdrives which started getting bad surface graining and a very square contact patch inside 1000km of the same kind of riding. Be very careful on the first few rides you do as they come with a shiny coating on the surface from the stuff they line the moulds with during manufacturing, but at least the manufacturer isn't scraping the surface off which could cause the tyre to start graining from the word go.
Puncture protection is good, no punctures so far even from gravel tracks. It doesn't provide a great deal of traction once you get onto anything other than a well-maintained gravel track or road, but if you don't do the heavier stuff then that doesn't matter.
The reflective sidewall is a nice little extra.
